International Dance Day is celebrated on the 29th of April every year globally in memory of the creator of modern Ballet – Jean-Georges Noverre’s birthday. This day was created by the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute (ITI), which is also the main partner of performing arts for UNESCO.
