WORLD SPACE WEEK

World Space Week is an annual celebration in over 95 countries around the world. Known as “an international celebration of science and technology, and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition.”

World Space Week (WSW) was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 1999 and will be conducted every year from October 4 to 10. The dates were chosen to commemorate the launch of Sputnik 1, the first human-made Earth satellite, on October 4, 1957.

Space agencies, aerospace businesses, schools, planetaria, museums, and astronomy clubs all over the world host space education and outreach programs throughout World Space Week. 

Space is something that can blow your mind away with some unbelievable factors. Let us spend some time understanding and learning about interesting facts related to space.
